? Application & Installation Instructions

1. Function: Connects drive shaft and wheel hub, transmits torque at constant velocity during steering and suspension travel; the ABS ring supplies wheel speed signal for ABS sensor.

2. Failure Symptoms for Replacement

· Typical clicking noise from chassis when turning

· Torn CV boot, thrown-out lubricant, ingress of sand/mud accelerating joint wear

· ABS warning light triggered (rusted or damaged tone ring)

3. Installation Guidelines

· Always fit brand-new TPEE boot and fresh dedicated CV grease; old grease cannot be reused

· Tighten axle nut to Toyota OEM torque value; inspect CV boot for twisting or squeezing after assembly

· Verify spline count and ABS ring tooth count against original axle before fitting; mismatched parts will trigger ABS faults

4. Notes

· Fits FWD Corolla E11 only, NOT for RWD vehicles

· This 4341012490 is outer CV joint, not inner joint; do not mix up with versions without ABS tone ring
